Phil said to me today, and just before I wrote this description for this photo, that the older he gets the more he likes old things. I know what he means exactly and I think maybe that is why I liked this doorway. I’m intrigued by windows and doors anyway (see my windows project book) but this one drew me in by its simplicity and worn look. How many comings and goings would this old door have experienced? It holds stories in its weariness and I like that.
